Content Security & Confidentiality Policy

BlackVault Studio regularly works with unreleased and commercially sensitive creative content. This may include films, television programs, animation, games, scripts, dialogue, voice recordings, music, sound effects and other production materials.

We recognize the importance of protecting such content throughout the production process.

Confidential Client Content

All unreleased client materials are treated as confidential and are used solely for the purposes agreed with the client.

We do not intentionally disclose, distribute, publish or otherwise make confidential client materials available to unauthorized third parties.

Project Access

Access to confidential content is limited to personnel and collaborators directly involved in the relevant project.

External collaborators are provided only with the materials required to perform their assigned work.

Where a project requires additional access restrictions, we can implement project-specific procedures according to the client's requirements.

Recording Sessions

Recording sessions may involve confidential scripts, dialogue, performances and other unreleased materials.

For confidential projects, appropriate measures may include:

  • Restricting access to the recording environment.

  • Limiting access to session materials.

  • Preventing unauthorized recording or copying of client content.

  • Securely handling recorded performances and session files.

  • Following additional confidentiality requirements provided by the client.

Scripts & Production Materials

Scripts, dialogue lists, reference videos, production notes and other materials received for dubbing, ADR, localization, sound design or post-production are treated as confidential project information.

Such materials are not shared outside the project team unless authorized or required for the completion of the agreed services.

External Collaborators

Where voice talent, engineers, composers, editors or other external professionals participate in a project, access to confidential materials is limited to what is necessary for their role.

Where appropriate, confidentiality obligations may be established through contractual agreements or project-specific requirements.

Client-Specific Security Requirements

Different productions may have different security requirements.

For projects involving particularly sensitive or unreleased content, BlackVault Studio can work with the client to establish specific requirements concerning:

  • Content access

  • File transfer

  • Data retention

  • Recording sessions

  • Confidentiality

  • Approved communication platforms

  • Deliverables

  • Content handling

Agreed project-specific security requirements will be incorporated into the applicable workflow.

Publicity & Portfolio Use

Confidential project materials are not used for promotional purposes without appropriate authorization.

This includes project titles, client names, recordings, screenshots, video excerpts, behind-the-scenes material and other project-related information where such use is restricted by the client or applicable agreement.

Where a client permits portfolio or promotional use, the agreed scope of that permission will be respected.

Commitment to Confidentiality

Protecting client content is an integral part of our professional workflow.

BlackVault Studio is committed to handling confidential creative materials responsibly from initial receipt through production, delivery and applicable retention periods.
